The wildlife on Verneukpan consists of typical area species, including steenbok, bat-eared foxes, black-backed jackals, wild cats, caracals, porcupines, Cape gray mongooses, meerkats, aardvarks, scrub hares, and the Karoo korhaan, along with numerous other birds and insects. Additionally, our farm is home to approximately 14 springboks, which can often be spotted on the pan.
Spot typical arid area species like Steenbok, Bat-eared fox, Black-backed Jackal, Wild Cat, meerkat, porcupine, caracal, various birds, and occasionally Springboks, including the Karoo Korhaan.
The months from August to October and then again February to April is your best time to camp here.
